Frequently asked questions.

whisky FAQs

do you have whisky available for purchase right now?

Yes! Our Wheated Rye whisky is available for purchase all the time (and it’s delicious if we do say so ourselves). You can find it in select private liquor stores in BC, or order it online with Canada-wide shipping.

how do i purchase your limited release whisky?

Our special release whiskies (numbered bottles, Realms of Rye) are released periodically and usually sell out within a day. Signing up for our mailing list is the best way to find out about upcoming releases and will give you the best chance at getting a bottle.

can i buy a bottle of one of your past releases?

All of the past special release whiskies on our website are sold out (don’t phone us to ask, we don’t have secret stashed bottles to sell you — I don’t care if you ‘know’ James!)

If you’re searching for a specific bottle of SOV whisky, your best bet is to look on the secondary whisky market through joining whisky clubs and browsing auction sites.

You can also sign up for our mailing list so you don’t miss out on any future releases.

do you sell whisky by the barrel?

Our chosen approach is custom batch blends created in partnership with our blending team, who will work alongside you to craft a select blend tailored to your needs.

Whereas a single barrel can feel very ‘unfinished’ or ‘incomplete,’ blending provides the ability to marry barrels to create the perfect final product.

Please send us a message to enquire about process and pricing.

do you offer private tastings?

If you run a whisky club or similar, we would love to hear from you and chat about a private tasting for your group. Send us a message and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

do you make your own whisky?

We ferment, distill, and mature all our whisky at our distillery in North Vancouver, BC. We talk a lot about how we specialize in blending, but that doesn’t mean we’re buying our whisky — how dare you!

distillery faqs

what are your hours?

The distillery tasting room is located at 1431 Crown St in North Vancouver, BC. It’s open for drams, cocktails and bottle purchases:
Monday through Friday & Sunday - 5 to 9 PM
Saturday - 1 to 9 PM

For commercial deliveries/pick-ups only, production staff are generally around daytime hours, Monday through Friday.

do you take reservations in the tasting room?

The tasting room is first come, first serve. That said, we usually have tables or a seat at the bar available. For large parties, we recommend coming closer to open hours for the best chance at getting a table.

do you offer tours?

Our tours are by appointment only — so don’t try wandering in if the garage door is open! Our production team is busy making sweet, sweet whisky.

Our blending team loves scheduling a tour whenever possible. Send us a message and we’ll do our best to accommodate!

can i rent out the distillery for a private party?

Due to the size of our space and limited staffing, we no longer offer private parties. Whomp, whomp.

We recommend contacting our neighbours, The Woods Spirit Co, as they’re better suited for private parties and make delicious cocktails.

can i rent out the distillery/tasting room for a movie/tv shoot?

We love meeting celebrities and we love cash. Send us a message and we’ll see if we can accommodate.

do you offer your spirits for wholesale purchase?

Yes! We work with Lone Tree Cellars to offer our spirits for wholesale purchase within British Columbia. Visit their website for contact information.
