Interested in procuring a ‘select’ whisky from Sons of Vancouver? Our chosen approach is custom batch blends created in partnership with our blending team, who will work alongside you to craft a blend tailored to your group.
Whereas a single barrel can feel very ‘unfinished’ or ‘incomplete,’ blending provides the ability to marry barrels to create the perfect final product. You will receive cask pulls to taste through, similar to a barrel pick, but the end result will be a complete, well-rounded whisky that is intentionally blended to be better than the sum of its parts.
let’s talk money—the cost of a custom blend
The base price per bottle is $90 CAD (tax included), with a minimum purchase of 250 bottles. This includes cask pulls, custom blending services, meetings throughout the process, bottling, and custom packaging. Finishing barrels (if desired) and final shipping of product is calculated on an as-needed basis.
We will consider smaller bottlings, but the cost per bottle will be higher. Send us a message to inquire.

We find direct-to-customer sales to be the easiest way to manage custom blends. This means you will designate an individual to represent your group — they will be in charge communicating with us, collecting and submitting payment, and arranging shipping to one location within Canada. No agent or liquor store required.
our current timeline
Whisky blending is a bit of an art form that takes time and patience. Depending on the parameters and whether barrel-finishing is involved, the whole process of blending your whisky can take about 2 - 6 months.
Our schedule is currently full and we’re taking reservations for 6 - 8 months from now. You are encouraged to fill out the form below and put down a $500 deposit to hold your place in line.
how this process looks
STEP 1: Fill out the form below with all your details and we’ll contact you shortly to have an initial chat and provide a rough idea of timeline/availability.
STERP 2: We’ll send you a link to pay an initial deposit of $500. This will guarantee your spot in our schedule and start the custom blend process.
STEP 3: We’ll provide 3 - 5 cask pulls to sample and schedule a face-to-face meeting with our blending team (either in person or online, you choose) to chat about your blend. This is where we come up with a direction for your blend based on your palate and groups needs.
STEP 4: Our blending team will refine the blend and do any additional maturing/finishing that needs to happen. You’ll be given 1 - 3 possible blends to taste through and choose your blend.
STEP 5: We will provide an invoice for final payment. Once complete, we can decide on custom branding and get to bottling.
STEP 6: We will ship you out your whisky to one location (within Canada only) for local distribution within your club or organization.
